Typical defects

Bad contact inside the capacitor 4700 pF is finally destroyed by high-voltage pulses, and the resistor 15k after this circuit from the inflated impulse voltage and current is burned to the coals. The zener diode protects the processor at the input of the PLL.
Due to the closure inside the capacitor 680 pF of the upper arm of the divider, the resistor can also burn out.
After replacing the faulty circuit elements, the normal operation of the TV is restored.
This divider is also used in other chassis of Samsung TVs, creating the same problems. In some TVs larger diagonals, where a more powerful resistor is connected to the PLL circuits, together with the resistor, the part of the board with the connections can burn out.
3. There is no sound.
There is no sound. ULF and dynamics are good. Switching the BG / DK system does not solve the problem.
It is necessary to enter the service menu (Servise Mode) in the mode of setting options (OPTION TABLE) and switch the eighth option 2ND SIF (ON -OFF).
4. The TV does not turn on.
The power module does not start. The zener diode in the primary circuit is fed through the power supply of the PWM controller.
The reason is an overestimated ESR of the electrolytic capacitor 33uF 50V. The breakdown of the zener diode is related to the design features of the PWM power supply organization and protection from exceedances.
After replacing the condenser and zener diode, the operability of the TV is restored. In the case of an embodiment of a power module without an optocoupler, a zener diode 33V (1N4752) is installed.
Another malfunction, in which the TV does not turn on - the breakdown of the 2SC2499 line transistor. There can be several reasons.
Immediately agree that the replacement of transistors 2SC2499 or their analogs from the tested lot. The problems associated with the use of "left" transistors are not considered here.
In a 15 "flat CRT TV, the HOT collector circuit has a 5100 pF 1600V capacitor as resonant, which is often found to be somewhat swollen in such an accident, in any case it should be checked and, if necessary, replaced.
